Below are this week's club notes

The Munster Senior and Masters Indoor Championships were held at the Nenagh Indoor Stadium Jan 15th. Competing in the Senior category, Niamh De Hora was third in the 800m in a time of 2:25.52. Rossa Foley was first in the Triple Jump (11.89m), first in the shot with a throw of 9.73m and second in the Weight for Distance 56 lb with a throw of 4.77m. Jim O'Shea competing in the Masters O70 category, was second in the Long Jump with a distance of 3.81m, third in the 60m sprint with a time of 9.92sec.

Online Entry is now open for the Munster U/9 to U/12 Indoor Championships & the Munster U/13 to U/19 Indoor Championships. All information can be found on the Munster Athletics website "Forms" page here. 

Club Membership

Membership for 2017 is now due. In order to be eligible to take part in athletic competitions & avail of our club training it you need to be registered. Full details posted on our club website. Newcomers welcome with information in regards athletics and our club also available on our website. www.ffmvac.blogspot.ie

Club Training:

Secondary School /Junior / Senior training every Thursday starts back again at 6:40pm in GAA grounds Farranfore from Jan12th. This is endurance training for all levels with emphasis on running form and technique. €2 club member, €4 non club member.

Cardiorespiratory, Strength, Endurance & Flexibility Exercise Class every Tuesday @ 7pm indoors at Farranfore Sports Hall, Coached by Maria McCarthy, this programme is designed to improve all the components of fitness that constitute physical fitness of an individual
